Research Executive
Based: Madrid

The Research Executive will use consumer insights to grow revenue through advertising sales & affiliate sales, and guide the editorial and strategic development of our portfolio in Spain.

 
At least 2 years' research experiece needed.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate to design, commission and implement all Southern European research efforts and ensure quality and objectivity of all research, keeping a particular focus on Spanish market.
  • Support the sales representative with innovative and relevant consumer insights to pitch DNE portfolio competitively. Ensure that the sales pitch is compelling and high quality
  • Ensure that the consumer perspective drives channel creative and brand decisions, and that agreed strategies are followed through
  • Monitor of market dynamics, competitive landscape and media landscape
  • Work with Spain Research Manager, and other Southern Europe and west Research team to achieve brand consistency
  • Maintain effective and appropriate reporting systems, to be used in the regional office as well as in London.
Requirements:
  • At least two years' research experience – broadcast or media
  • Ability to manage workload through business based prioritisation, and delivery of concise and relevant work to internal clients
  • Customer focussed and ability to demonstrate diplomacy, tact and integrity
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Passion for TV, media, factual and lifestyle entertainment programmes
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant data analysis systems
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese  language (preferably mother tongue)
  • University degree, with fluency in English
  • Broad research experience, from analysis of peoplemeter data, to commissioning and managing primary quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Strong understanding of the Spanish and Portuguese TV market.
